How do I resolve this installation issue?
I recently installed Halo: Combat Evolved on my Sony VAIO laptop. I use Windows Vista for reference. I un-installed the game from the Program menu and features. Also empty the recycle bin of the program is signed. I tried reinstalled by inserting the disc into the disc tray, but no options or open the installation wizard. I went to my default programs in my control panel and disable the role of game settings to automatically run and install the software and games inserted in the drawer. However, even after I did, the game does not begin to install and no options or anything being published. How do I install my Halo: Combat Evolved PC game on my laptop with Vista? No matter how many times I insert the disk nothing happens. Help would be greatly appreciated.
First, check if your version of Halo is compatible with Vista. She may need a download to work with Vista. Web access and search Halo Halo Aid. I purchased the aforementioned software in the box that worked w / Vista, but the disk that came w / it was useless. I had to download the software online and use the license that accompanies the product package. Your other option is to click My Computer, double-click the drive that contains the installation disk.
